Sardis Secondary Student Groups
Leadership is a project-based course in the timetable that gives students the opportunity to organize purposeful school and community events, such as assemblies, dances, fundraisers, spirit activities, community events, etc.
Students who share a common interest meet together all of the time. In order to be a 'school club', the group needs to have a sponsor teacher and open meetings. Sardis offers many clubs (see menu above), and there is always room for more.
There are tons of opportunities for students to get involved in athletics, from school teams to intramural to strongman competitions. Go to www.sardisathletics.com for more information.
Student forum is a new concept here at Sardis that is still taking shape. The idea is to have a group that is open to all students who have an interest in the school to give input and to get involved with school culture on a purely volunteer basis.
The Grad Committee is a group of current grade 12 students that are nominated and chosen by teachers to help plan grad activities for the year.
